Term: Seasonal (September – June) with a 3-month initial trial period.

Overview
I am seeking a Director’s Assistant to assist with administrative and creative tasks for my work as Artistic Director (Byrd Ensemble, Radiance Ensemble) and Creative Director (Scribe Studios). This role is for a highly organized individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously during our concert and production seasons.
Core Responsibilities
Communications: Use Google Workspace (Gmail/Slack) to facilitate professional communication between clients, artists, and contractors. Act as the primary point of contact for audience inquiries.
Design & Marketing: Manage the rollout of email announcements and social media campaigns. Create and maintain promotional photo/video content in Canva, adhering to established brand styles for each ensemble.
Production and Logistics: Coordinate travel logistics, including housing and flight bookings for artists. Provide occasional local transportation for guest artists and run errands as needed.
General Support: Assist with professional and occasional personal administrative tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Software: High proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms), Slack, and Canva.
AI Literacy: Demonstrated ability to use Generative AI effectively to enhance productivity, while maintaining a commitment to responsible use—ensuring all AI-generated output is fact-checked and aligned with the brand's voice.
Professional Background: A background in performing arts or choral music is a significant plus.
Logistics: Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
Organization: The ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously.
Communication: Clear, professional, and concise writing skills.
Position Details & Term
Schedule: Fixed block of 3 hours per day, Monday through Thursday, 10am–1pm. (Limited flexibility for the right candidate).
Work Environment: Fully remote during scheduled hours. You will be expected to be active and available via Slack and Google Workspace for real-time collaboration. The contractor is responsible for providing their own workstation and internet.
On-Site Requirements: Occasional on-site presence will be required in the Seattle area for concerts.
