My brother scored tickets to hike the enchantments this September 2021 and I’m going on a bunch of hikes to get my butt in shape. Will be documenting and reviewing these hikes and talking about the gear I’m using.
Hike 01: Margaret’s Way (Issaquah Alps, WA)
April 24, 2021
Length: 6.5 miles round trip
Gain: 1500 ft.
Highest Point: 1730ft
A wet and sloshy hike up Margaret's Way. A few opportunities for views, but not on this rainy and misty Saturday. At this time of year it was very green and mossy. Very LOTR. First hike of the season and legs feel like they got a hard workout after this hike. Shows how far I have to go!
Gear:
Did not keep me dry. Don't recommend for a rainy hike.
